Region Skåne operates in many locations. All our hospitals provide care to patients in several different medical specialties. Skåne University Hospital is the third largest in Sweden and offers highly specialized care in Malmö and Lund. In Helsingborg, Kristianstad, and Ystad, there are acute hospitals with maternity care. Personal local hospitals are located in Hässleholm, Landskrona, Trelleborg, and Ängelholm.

Within Close Care and Health, there is also palliative care, advanced home care, and evening and weekend clinics. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you will have a varied job with competent and engaged colleagues who will help you get started in your work. The tasks in the different operations vary.

We are looking for employees in several different areas within our organization, and you can therefore specify which operation and location you wish to work in. Your preferences will be taken into account in the matching with our operations.

The summer period at Region Skåne is from June 8 to August 23. The employment period is adjusted according to the needs of the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work with nursing assistant tasks within Region Skåne, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure.
• have completed and passed at least the fourth semester of the nursing program.
• have completed and passed at least the sixth semester of the medical program.

Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. For us, it is important that you focus on the patient's best interests and that you enjoy varied tasks. We value your ability to work independently and take initiative, while also having good collaboration skills. You need to present proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you have not received your proof of protected professional title, you must attach grades (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant education. If you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, and lack proof, attach your employment certificate and your grades (not just a diploma) from your nursing assistant education. If you do not have the proof, you may be employed as a care assistant on a temporary basis, pending the proof. Medical and nursing students are employed with the title of care assistant.
