Welcome to Us

The municipal home care service in the Northern Inner City district has launched a night patrol for fixed night interventions and responds to security alarms during the night.

Our areas include Östermalm, Norrmalm, and Kungsholmen. The unit is Star Marked by the Swedish Dementia Center, which means we specialize in person-centered care and support for individuals with cognitive impairment/disease.

Your Role

As a night care assistant, you will work with experienced and trained colleagues, where you will be responsible for care interventions and respond to and address security alarms. The role requires a flexible working approach and good collaboration with colleagues.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work for good care based on individual needs. We work person-centered with the elderly in focus. The work involves both urgent and planned interventions, which means you need to be able to make independent decisions.

Your Competence and Experience

You need to have:

• Care assistant education and proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Experience in home care, preferably at night
• Good familiarity with documentation and information transfer
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working in a security alarm patrol for home care
• Experience of night work
• Completed training in ergonomics and first aid
• Local knowledge of the areas Östermalm, Norrmalm, and Kungsholmen

As a person, you are self-driven and service-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

To work with the elderly and individuals with disabilities in their homes, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue. Before starting your employment as a night care assistant in the night patrol, you will also undergo a health examination.
