Fortificationsverket is looking for a property technician in Älvdalen!

Your everyday life as a property technician - working in a socially important organization

We are 15 people working in the operational group in the northwest of Dalarna, of which 10 are based in Älvdalen. Here we work as operational technicians and property technicians, as well as operational managers and group leaders, and we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio in Trängslet. We are now looking for a replacement for one of our property technicians!

The role includes working with roads, land, and park work, which mainly involves maintaining roads and areas year-round, as well as green spaces during the summer season. The role also includes repair and service of machines and tools that are part of our machinery fleet.

We have many visitors within our property portfolio, which is why it is important that you enjoy customer and supplier contacts and are motivated to repair and assist. On-call duty may be applied.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least completed high school education, preferably with a technical focus. It is required that you have a regular driver's license, class B, as well as a class C driver's license. If you also have a CE driver's license and vocational training as a wheel and excavator driver, that is an advantage. You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing and are a Swedish citizen.

Work experience in workshop work where you have worked with repair and service of construction machines and trucks is an advantage. We also view positively if you have experience working with green spaces, are skilled in welding, and have computer skills. Experience working in a security-classified environment is also considered an advantage.
