Your daily life as an Operations Technician - working in a socially important organization

We are 15 people working in the operations group in the outer northwest of Dalarna, of which 10 are based in Älvdalen. In Älvdalen, we work in the roles of operations technician and property technician, as well as operations manager and operations group leader, and we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio in Trängslet. We are now looking for a replacement for one of our operations technicians!

The position includes working with preventive maintenance primarily of technical installations in buildings and associated infrastructure, control, regulation, and monitoring systems. This includes supervision and maintenance of our own pellet boilers for district heating distribution, as well as our own waterworks and sewage treatment plant. You will also work with additional services from our customer and with troubleshooting and planned maintenance on technical installations in buildings.

This is an important job that ensures it is pleasant to be in the buildings, at workplaces, and other premises, and that the systems are used efficiently in terms of costs, energy, and environment. In this position, an important part will be working with our new control and monitoring system, which means you need to be a proficient computer user in your work. Continuous customer and supplier contacts are included, and on-call duty may be required.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least completed secondary education, preferably with a technical focus or post-secondary education with a focus on electrician, property management, or similar. You have a good ability to troubleshoot technical installations and carry out repairs. You also have an interest in property management. You have good administrative skills with computer proficiency in various support systems, and you have very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.

Experience in operations and maintenance work in the industrial or property sector, as well as competence in the electrical field, is an advantage, ideally with training and/or experience as an electrician. Knowledge in control and regulation, i.e., technical property operations, is also viewed positively. Experience working in a security-classified environment is also considered advantageous.
