Telecommunications Technician for Technical Surveillance at the Swedish Armed Forces in Falun
We are looking for a telecommunications technician for technical surveillance at the Swedish Armed Forces in Falun. The position is located at the Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS), Implementation Unit Mid, at the Implementation Department in Falun. The Implementation Department in Falun is responsible for conducting operations and maintaining systems for the units in the area.

Main tasks:
The work mainly consists of independently and in teams conducting commissioning, maintenance work (service), and minor installations (extensions) on our technical surveillance systems. Within the Swedish Armed Forces, several alarm and CCTV systems are used, such as UNISON, Sentrion S4, Extronic, Milestone, among others. The work is mainly carried out locally in Falun, but on-call duty and travel may occur.
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking on new challenges and solving problems. The position involves a lot of direct contact with customers, so your social skills will be put to the test.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education focused on Tele/Electric/Technology
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of transmission technology and network construction
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Driving license B

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Work location: Falun, travel within the service may occur.
