At Quant in Ludvika, we have about 120 employees primarily in Maintenance and Transport/Logistics. The maintenance department consists of about 60 employees in various roles, including maintenance technicians (Electrical/Automation, Mechanical, Process, project, etc.), maintenance engineers, planners/coordinators, project managers, and maintenance leaders. We perform emergency and preventive maintenance for our customer Hitachi Energy and also work to help the customer maintain and optimize machine performance at their facilities.

Your role as an industrial electrician

In the role of industrial electrician, you will have the opportunity to work in a company whose core business is maintenance, and you will also have the chance to work closely with our customer. You will work together with a maintenance team that consists of maintenance mechanics/technicians, maintenance engineers, and electricians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control equipment using PLC
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Collaborate with and assist mechanics in their work
• Work in control systems, frequency converters, and servo drives
• Ongoing supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of installations
• Continuously work in our Maintenance System
• Work in TIA (perform risk assessments and/or other safety preventive measures)
• Work with Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Order materials and/or spare parts
• Shift work may occur

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education and/or experience from production operations within maintenance, electrical, or automation. It is an advantage if you are a trained industrial electrician. You have skills in using both modern and older technology for troubleshooting. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with good knowledge of electrical equipment and the ability to read and understand electrical drawings. Good experience with the Office Suite is beneficial, as well as familiarity with working in a maintenance system.
