Our Operations

The rehabilitation unit consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and speech therapists. The unit's mission includes the rehabilitative and investigative efforts of these professions across all hospital wards. The operations encompass both inpatient and specialized outpatient care. The workgroup currently consists of about 30 colleagues, some new to their profession and others with longer experience in their roles and in working within the region. As a new employee, you will be offered an individualized introduction with the possibility of having a mentor for guidance, security, and development in your role as an occupational therapist with us.

In our unit, we value good collaboration and work in multidisciplinary teams around the patient. Care, security, and joy at work permeate our everyday life, both in patient meetings and among colleagues.

The Hospital in Enköping is a health-promoting hospital and therefore invests significantly in wellness. This means that you have a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK per year. A staff gym as well as several training activities are available at the hospital.

Your Mission

We are looking for an occupational therapist for our medicine team.

As an occupational therapist, your mission is to work person-centered together with other colleagues based on the individual conditions and needs of the patients. Together with the patient, we focus on efforts that provide support for a safe and secure discharge.

The tasks on the medicine ward may include activity and functional assessments, cognitive assessments, as well as testing and prescribing assistive devices. Guidance and training in transfers for ward staff and student supervision may occur.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. If you have previous experience working as an occupational therapist, that is something we value, but we also welcome you if you are newly graduated. As a person, you have a positive outlook on life, possess good collaboration skills, and enjoy working in a team while feeling a great responsibility for your own contribution and our patients.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
