At the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be an important part of an experienced team responsible for the care of critically ill patients.

Your workplace

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) currently consists of eight beds. In the ICU, patients of all ages are cared for due to various reasons, but what they have in common is that their condition is serious and one or more organ systems are failing. We have high staffing levels and expertise, as well as resources and equipment to care for the most critically ill patients in the region.

Your tasks

The tasks of the nursing assistant in intensive care are team-based and characterized by collaboration with intensive care nurses and doctors, as well as other professional categories. The work is varied and requires both decisiveness and patience.

The nursing assistant primarily works with critically ill patients with significant care needs, constant monitoring, mobilization, and assisting with various procedures/interventions. Tasks can range from oral care, preventing pressure sores, to alleviating anxiety, holding hands, and caring for relatives. We work patient-centered with fewer patients. The job includes working day, evening, and night shifts as we have the same staffing around the clock.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a few years of experience in the role. You make correct assessments and priorities. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as responsibility, teamwork, flexibility, and good communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
