Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. The Local Healthcare Area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, and Primary Care in Skellefteå and Norsjö municipalities. Together, these aim to provide good, close care.

With us, you will become part of a clinic where the care places are distributed based on medical and geriatric orientations. The majority of admissions are acute and occur via the emergency department. The outpatient care activities consist of medicine, geriatrics, and dialysis clinics. Within the medicine clinic, there are also day care services and a physiological laboratory. The clinic also includes a Research Unit, which is unique for a regional hospital.

The work at the medical and geriatric reception is done in teams that focus on different diagnoses to provide patients with the best possible care. In the teams, nurses, doctors, and other professionals work together for the benefit of the patient. Here, we can offer you a very enjoyable, varied, and important job!

The working hours are daytime Monday to Friday with the possibility of some remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you provide important service and enable efforts that impact many.

The work as a medical secretary includes, among other things, writing medical records, handling referrals and mail, registering test results, and managing incoming documents. Register work and telephone service are also part of the job responsibilities. Our working methods are characterized by teamwork, and the medical secretaries are an important part of the whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated medical secretary or healthcare administrator. For the role, it is required that you master Swedish in both spoken and written form. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have experience in administrative work, and we would prefer if you have experience working with the medical record system Cosmic.

As a person, you appreciate feeling responsible and thrive in an environment with varied tasks and changing intensity. You have a good ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate easily with others. You are used to organizing and structuring your time and tasks and are flexible and stress-resistant. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
