Located right by the beach on the western side of Gotland, in the shade of the hundred-year-old pine trees, lies Surflogiet. A little paradise rooted in surf culture, with a big heart for the lifestyle and how we take care of the earth we live on.

The operation consists of 28 beds spread over 11 tents, event tents for groups and conferences, wellness tents for yoga and massage, a restaurant with a beach bar, kitchen, and activity facilities. Surflogiet is open every day from mid-June to mid-August. The restaurant is open from 11:30 until late, serving lunch and dinner. From the end of May through August, we also accept group bookings for conferences, weddings, or parties.

About the position

As the first friendly person our guests meet, you lead by example, warmly welcoming guests and ensuring that every visit is unforgettable.

You are responsible for greeting guests, managing seating, and providing menu recommendations. You lead and organize the restaurant staff in operations, create section divisions, and assist with daily operations.

Managing bookings, pre-orders, service meetings, and cash closures are also part of your role. Together, we ensure smooth opening and closing procedures and maintain our service routines. You ensure that we have updated menus and other prints.

When the restaurant manager is not on site, you are the one the service turns to!

You:

• Are social, confident, and service-oriented with excellent people skills.
• Stay calm under pressure.
• Have knowledge of food and beverages, and a passion for sustainability is a plus.
• Are fluent in Swedish and English, as we have guests from all over the world.
• Computer skills are a big plus, as well as experience with the Caspeco cash system or similar.
