Welcome to us who work with personal assistance in Vännäs municipality!

Our operations are conducted within the framework of the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (functional support).

We offer independent work where the user's safety and experience are in focus. We often describe our work with the expression “freedom under responsibility,” meaning that you can influence your work content within the framework of the users' wishes and needs. Your efforts with support and help on-site contribute to giving the users the opportunity to continue living an independent life.

You will work as an assistant to a 40-year-old woman who has suffered brain and spinal cord injuries due to an accident. As a result, the woman has a ventilator and a tracheostomy. The tasks consist of assisting the woman with various daily activities, such as communication, meals, and hygiene. Your mission is to assist the woman with support and help with various tasks to make everyday life function in the best possible way. The woman's family consists of a husband and two school-aged children. We are looking for someone who is proactive and can take responsibility. Being cheerful, encouraging, and enjoying working with people is a given.

Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and cough machines is an advantage but not a requirement. You will receive training and onboarding so that you feel secure with the tasks. You will work in a team of 12-15 people and you will always work in pairs. The working hours are distributed between days, evenings, and weekends.

The position is a one-year temporary contract with an immediate start.
