Male Nursing Assistants Wanted for BUP Stockholm's Inpatient Care
BUP Stockholm's inpatient patients need to meet both male and female nursing staff.
Currently, we have too few male nursing assistants in our round-the-clock care unit at St Göran, which is why we are specifically looking for men in this recruitment.
BUP Stockholm's round-the-clock care consists of three care departments and an emergency unit. The units provide care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with complicated psychiatric conditions who require short-term intensified care. The care is conducted according to HSL and LPT and is characterized by a holistic approach where psychiatric, psychological, and social factors are significant for diagnosis and treatment.
The round-the-clock care unit at St Göran is a well-functioning department where both patients and staff thrive. The patients are mainly between 15 and 17 years old. We work together for the best interests of the patients and to jointly create a pleasant and positive workplace. We place great emphasis on continuously developing our working methods and adapting care to the needs of the patients.
We now need to complement our stable and competent staff group with more male nursing assistants so that we can meet the children/adolescents and their families in reception and care work in the best way, by both male and female staff.

Standard practical tasks in a psychiatric care department, such as patient conversations, participating in and initiating activities with patients, and performing nursing measures.

As a person, you are stable, have personal maturity, and possess empathetic abilities. To succeed in the role, you need to easily collaborate with your colleagues for the best interests of the patients. You have the ability to adapt in acute situations and work in a team. We place great importance on personal suitability.
