Summer Temporary Position for Physiotherapist in Geriatrics

We are now offering an exciting and developing job opportunity for you as a physiotherapist seeking a summer temporary position in geriatrics! This is a chance for development and a unique opportunity to get to know Stockholms Sjukhem as an employer. We are looking for physiotherapists for both our units in Bromma and Kungsholmen.

About the Role as a Physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist with us, you will be offered a varied job in a stimulating environment where you meet patients with different diagnoses. Your tasks will include:

  • assessment and mapping of activity and mobility abilities
  • individual training and follow-up
  • evaluation and prescription of assistive devices

We work in teams, and in addition to contact with other physiotherapists, you will have support from other colleagues in the team, such as occupational therapists, dietitians, speech therapists, nursing staff, and doctors. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is full-time during the summer period from June to August. Start date and salary according to agreement.

About Us

Stockholms Sjukhem offers acute geriatric inpatient care in Bromma and Kungsholmen. The care is provided in multidisciplinary teams in close collaboration between staff, patients, and relatives. Together, we develop qualitative and sustainable rehabilitation efforts and create a safe and secure discharge for the patient. Our work is characterized by a lack of prestige and care, where we share our knowledge.

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist, perhaps newly graduated and seeking a safe and educational start to your career. Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and have a humble attitude towards the world around you. You appreciate variation and the ability to switch between a team-oriented and individual working style. The position requires you to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and to have good computer skills.

During the application process, you will indicate whether you prefer placement in Bromma or Kungsholmen.

Additional Information and Application

The position is a summer temporary position during the period from June to August. Full-time, 40 hours/week. Flexible agreements are available.
