About the position

The Medical Unit for Health Professions plays an important role in the care provided at Karolinska University Hospital.

With us, both occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, supply managers, administrators, social workers, psychologists, dietitians, and speech therapists work together. Supervising students is a natural part of your job. Your tasks also include contributing to the development of care programs and workflows based on evidence and patient needs.

We are now looking for temporary physiotherapists for several areas with us:

  • Neurology/Neurosurgery: here you will work with inpatient and outpatient care in a mix alongside other healthcare professionals in a team. Temporary position: May-December
  • Trauma/Orthopedics/Plastic Surgery inpatient care: Here you will work with patients with multiple trauma and planned orthopedic surgeries. The work is done in teams with other healthcare professionals. Temporary position: as soon as possible-December.
  • Cardiology: here you will work with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care in close collaboration with other professionals. Temporary position: May-September

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare

Meritorious:

  • Experience working in acute care
  • Master's degree and/or specialist competence
  • Previous experience and interest in working with patients in the field.
