Do you want to work with quality assurance of both existing and new products as well as incoming raw materials? Swedish Match is now looking for a Lab Analyst for our quality department in Gothenburg. About the position
You will be one of six employees in the QC lab and will work evening shifts. The position includes both quality controls and test runs in production.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nicotine analyses using UPLC technology.
- Perform daily checks of finished mixtures and finished products (pH, moisture, aW analyses) and label checks against specifications.
- Participate in product tests and conduct product audits.
- Analyze and report back to production in case of deviations.
- Assess and evaluate data from daily analyses.
- Proactively work to develop work methods and analysis routines.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in natural sciences or equivalent acquired knowledge.
- 2-3 years of practical laboratory experience.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with digital systems, e.g., LIMS and MS365.
- Structured and meticulous working style.
Desirable
- Education as a biomedical analyst or engineering degree with a focus on chemistry.
- Professional experience with UPLC.
- Experience from accredited operations.
- Experience from the food industry.
