We employ doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants in surgery, orthopedics, and urology. The area includes the KOU clinic and the Endoscopy clinic. In total, we are about 70 employees.

Södertälje Hospital

Södertälje Hospital has been known for many years for performing advanced hernia surgery. We also conduct gallbladder surgery with ERCP, obesity surgery, benign colorectal surgery focusing on diverticular disease, and complex proctology. From January 2026, we will perform robotic surgery including benign colon resections and incisional hernias.

Alongside elective procedures, we have a large flow of emergency surgeries. We rank high in terms of operating room utilization compared to other hospitals. At the endoscopy clinic, we perform 4000 procedures per year, and from the turn of the year, we have been tasked with performing CRC screening colonoscopies. We also perform endoscopic ultrasound.

Our area of operations is characterized by a clear patient focus. We have excellent and interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments throughout the hospital, and this is based on our employees' contributions to development efforts.

• Licensed physician with a specialization in surgery.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• On-call competence.

Meritorious:

• Experienced in robotic surgery
