As a nurse at SOS Alarm, you primarily work with telephone assessments and triage. You assess patients of all ages who have called 112 due to illness or injury with varying needs for assistance. Over the phone, you assess ambulance needs and provide emergency medical advice and care advice. Some of the calls involve guiding patients to the right level of care, which requires you as a nurse to work confidently and effectively. In your work, you collaborate with both internal and external actors, such as ambulance services and home care.
You will receive a comprehensive introduction where you alternate between e-courses and training with a mentor at the home center, as well as training days at our training unit in Kista.
As a SOS nurse, you have a full-time position with opportunities to influence your own schedule.

To work as a Nurse at SOS Alarm, you must have:
Swedish nursing license
At least three years of work experience in the profession
Good computer skills
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
We see that it is an advantage if you have experience in telephone assessment, relevant specialist nurse training, or additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.

SOS Alarm conducts security checks with background checks on its staff according to the requirements of the Security Protection Act (2018:585). A check according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies is also performed and is active during the employment period. A drug test without remarks is a prerequisite for employment. The position also involves military placement at SOS Alarm.
