The home care service, nursing and care homes Norrgården and Kungsgården in Upplands-Bro municipality are now looking for summer substitutes!

We are looking for you who:

• Want to work in elderly care.
• Enjoy providing service and like working with elderly people.
• We value personal qualities such as being easy to collaborate with, being creative, flexible, and taking great personal responsibility.
• Previous experience in elderly care is considered an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is necessary as all communication and documentation is done in Swedish.
• Good computer skills and experience with digital working methods, as we work with electronic documentation.
• Have a driver's license and/or can cycle.
• Can work 7-8 weeks during the summer, with the possibility to start as early as May.

Job description

• As a care staff member, your role includes supporting our care recipients to a meaningful everyday life and good quality of life.
• We work to provide individual care and service to the elderly and disabled to enable them to stay in their own homes.

Briefly about home care and nursing homes and our tasks:

Home care: The home care service in Upplands-Bro is for people who need care, support, and service in their own homes. Our clients receive help in their homes with everything from breakfast, showering, toilet visits, dressing, and walks. We assist the client with laundry, shopping, or cleaning. You drive a car or cycle between clients, but always start from Kungsängen and/or Bro.

Nursing homes: Upplands-Bro municipality has two nursing homes, Norrgården in Bro and Kungsgården in Kungsängen. At our nursing homes, people with care needs and those with dementia live. As an employee at one of our nursing homes, you support the residents with tasks they cannot manage in their daily lives. This may involve personal hygiene, assistance with showering and toilet visits, support during meals, and helping to take care of the residents' own apartments and common areas.

About the position:

The employment is a temporary position with hourly pay. You should be able to work 7-8 weeks in a row.

With us, you will receive an hourly wage based on your education and experience. The hourly wage can vary between 145-175 SEK.

Start date by agreement, beginning from week 24, with the possibility of receiving the necessary introductory sessions already in the spring.

We will invite selected candidates to two group interviews on March 3rd and 5th. It is mandatory to attend one of the sessions to be considered for the position.
