Jakobsberg University Health Center is part of SLSO, Stockholm County's healthcare area.
We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg Center, 18 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm city.

About the Position
We are looking for a specialist doctor in general medicine for a new combined position – clinical work and training assignment.
As a specialist doctor in general medicine, you will perform standard tasks within primary care. You will meet patients of all ages and from various cultures and mentor future colleagues. The work requires broad medical competence, independence, and good collaboration skills with various professional groups.
We are a University Health Center, which means we are responsible for the training of healthcare personnel in certain knowledge areas. At Jakobsberg University Health Center, we focus on Cancer in Primary Care (CaPrim), Neurological Diseases, and Pain and Elderly Health.
In addition to clinical work, you will have the opportunity to be part of a training team for CaPrim. Doctors within CaPrim are responsible, together with the CaPrim team, for the development, coordination, and implementation of training initiatives related to primary care and cancer. The assignment aims to strengthen knowledge, improve early detection, and contribute to higher quality in primary care's cancer-related work, including preparing and delivering lectures to primary care staff.
As a doctor in CaPrim, you will also become a process leader for primary care within the Regional Cancer Center Stockholm Gotland. The assignment aims to strengthen the primary care perspective and improve transitions between primary and secondary care, as well as being responsible for updating and developing cancer documents on VISS.
The training assignment comprises approximately 30–50% of the position for a limited period.

Qualifications:
- Licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine
- Experience working in primary care
- Familiarity with the TakeCare journal system
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Interest in healthcare development, project management, and training
Desirable:
- Experience in research or knowledge management
- Pedagogical competence

Employment Type:
