ABOUT THE POSITION
As a radio engineer, you will work with radio and communication solutions within the defense industry. You will be involved in testing, evaluating, and developing systems, from requirements specification to integration and support. This includes maintaining old systems as well as developing new ones. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and customers, where you contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense and security.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
The role involves working with advanced radio communication systems, from design and testing to integration and maintenance, with a focus on security and functionality.
- Testing and evaluation of communication systems.
- Design and development of test equipment for hardware and software.
- Support and service of implemented systems at the customer.
- Requirements specification, verification, and integration of system solutions.
- Technical assistance, operational support, and maintenance of systems.
- Measurement and control of software as well as work in a technical workshop.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has knowledge in radio communication, networks, IP, or similar technical areas.
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.
- Has a strong technical interest and good technical understanding.
- Is available for business trips that occur in the role.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Education in electronics, electrical engineering, or similar technical orientation.
- Experience from working within the Armed Forces or defense industry.
- Knowledge of wave propagation, antenna technology, or measuring equipment.
- System understanding of marine communication systems.
- Driver's license (B).
To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
