Nordlo Växjö & Ljungby currently has 108 employees working at our offices in Växjö and Ljungby. We are now looking for network technicians based in Växjö.

Description:

We are looking for network technicians with both less and more experience to join our team. For those who are junior, it is good to have basic knowledge of networks, be curious, want to develop, and appreciate teamwork. You will have time and support to familiarize yourself with our tools and working methods. If you are a senior network technician, you already have experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and optimization in business-critical environments. Senior employees are given expanded responsibilities and the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and our ways of working.

At Nordlo, you will have a varied job where you will install and implement network equipment, manage the operation and maintenance of our network environments, and contribute to further development and improvements. You will handle troubleshooting and incidents, and actively work to strengthen security through proactive measures. Additionally, you will be involved in projects and the implementation of new solutions, and have regular technical dialogue with our customers.

The work primarily targets customer environments, but you will also work with our internal systems and data centers. At Nordlo, the focus is on service delivery rather than traditional consulting, allowing you as a technician to focus on technology and quality – without having to chase hours or report coverage.

We expect you to have the following experience:

Whether you are new to the industry or have extensive experience, you are welcome to apply. You have knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls in business-critical environments. You can work with network design, troubleshooting, and optimization based on your level of experience and have some understanding of redundancy, security, and performance. Additionally, you have experience with Wi-Fi solutions and are familiar with both Windows Server and Linux environments. It is a plus if you have also familiarized yourself with automation tools and scripting.

As our customer contacts are in both Swedish and English, you should be able to handle this fluently in both speech and writing.

The following skills, abilities, and experiences are desirable for the role but not required:

• Knowledge of networks – Preferably experience in installation, configuration, design, and support of network infrastructure in business-critical environments
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and security – In-depth understanding of network protocols, redundancy solutions, and security principles
• Experience with firewalls and security solutions – Configuration and management of firewalls and security features such as VPN, IPS/IDS, and segmentation
• Basic understanding of server environments and virtualization
• Familiarity with Windows Server and virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
• Ability to automate and streamline network operations – Experience with scripting and network automation is a plus
• Service-oriented and solution-focused attitude – Ability to see things from the customer's perspective and deliver high-quality solutions

Additional desirable knowledge:

• Experience with Linux and network administration in Linux environments
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, NSE, or equivalent
• Experience working with multiple major network manufacturers, including enterprise and data center solutions. (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, Palo Alto, or Juniper)
• Knowledge of SDN, network automation, and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python, or Bash)
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing network performance

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
