We are now looking for you who want to help ensure good member service and efficient case management at Kommunal's unemployment insurance fund.

About the role

As a benefits administrator, you will play a central role in providing service to our members by managing cases, staffing the phone, and responding to messages. The role is part of the local units of the unemployment insurance fund and is an important part of our production operations. You will be part of a team where you work together to achieve set production and operational goals.

Main responsibilities

  • Efficient and legally secure management of various types of cases in our case management system, Våra Sidor.
  • Service and guidance to members and authorities in phone calls and through responses to messages from members.

You need to be open to the fact that working methods may change and develop based on the digitalization occurring throughout society. Therefore, it is important that you can embrace new technology, new working methods, and new information. We also welcome your ideas and innovative thinking.

We are looking for someone who has

  • At least 1 year of work experience and a strong desire to develop in your professional role.
  • A minimum of post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on law, economics, social sciences, or another education that we assess to be equivalent, such as training as an unemployment insurance administrator.
  • The ability to interpret and apply regulations.
  • Experience working in case management systems and ease in navigating different technical environments.
  • The ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We work with clear language, which means we convert complex legal concepts into clear, understandable, and accurate texts for our members.
  • Good knowledge of English.

Meritorious

  • If you have work experience in administrative operations, preferably with experience from unemployment insurance or from an authority that we consider relevant.
  • If you have knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance Act and the Unemployment Insurance Funds Act.

As a new administrator, you will therefore start your employment with more fundamental tasks. Gradually, you will build your knowledge and broaden your skills, with the goal of eventually being able to handle all the types of cases included in the role of benefits administrator. If you already have experience from unemployment insurance and knowledge of the legislation and our case management system, Våra Sidor, an individual plan will be made for you.

In our offices, around 30 employees work in pleasant premises, and you will be part of one of our teams of administrators.

We are looking for several benefits administrators in Luleå, starting as soon as possible by agreement. The positions are permanent, with a requirement for a 6-month probationary period.

We offer generous benefits such as

  • Weekly working hours of 37.5 hours.
  • Opportunity to work from home part of the time.
  • 32 vacation days and 3 personal days.

  • Annual wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK.

Kommunal's unemployment insurance fund has a collective agreement with Handels with salary and working conditions according to the applicable agreement.
