What will you do with us?

You will be part of the group’s central finance function in Stockholm, a team of five people working closely with the CEO and the board. You will also become part of BTS's close-knit international finance team where you will have friendly and knowledgeable colleagues in 26 countries. You will report to Lisa Stawreberg, BTS Chief Accounting and Control Officer (CAO), who is a clear, responsive, and positive manager striving to create a team characterized by good energy, joy at work, efficiency, and security. Psychological safety along with Big hearted and high performing are key principles for BTS. Together we develop BTS's finance function and create really sharp processes that support the organization, both regarding short-term needs and long-term strategic initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Group accounting and consolidation, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analysis and review of subsidiaries' financial reports
• External reporting - quarterly reports and annual accounts for the group
• Internal reporting - to group management and the board, etc.
• Streamlining routines and processes – focus on AI
• Project management and system implementation
• Internal and external contacts with subsidiaries, auditors, and authorities

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics and experience in accounting, group accounting, and IFRS. A suitable background could be experience from listed companies, international operations, or previous experience from one of the larger auditing firms. Good knowledge of Excel and English is a must, as you will have close dialogue with your international colleagues in the team. High technical competence and curiosity are a big plus as we focus on AI, automation, and system efficiency.

Experience is valuable, but what we care about most is mindset, personality, and curiosity to learn new things, as well as the desire to grow within the organization. We are looking for someone who is unpretentious, flexible, and solution-focused. You are self-driven, responsible, and have a strong personal commitment and drive while enjoying working in a team. You are analytical and see the big picture, but at the same time structured and meticulous with details. In addition, we believe you have a positive and helpful attitude, and enjoy working at a fast pace.
