The Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.
We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, full-day care, and nationally specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have over 280 employees. Our outpatient and day care services are located in Södermalm and our full-day care at Danderyd Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Financial Controller, you are an important part of the clinic. You drive the financial work in line with our goals and independently produce reports and action proposals that are presented to the management. You work closely with the operations manager, section managers, unit managers, and quality controllers.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Leading and driving work with budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and follow-ups
- Conducting financial calculations and analyses
- Participating in systematic quality work
- Developing activity plans and preparing quality financial statements and interim reports
- Reporting goals and assignments in our operational follow-up system Stratsys
- Participating in and assisting with internal and external audits
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant degree in finance at the post-secondary level
- More than 3 years of experience in a controller role in the public sector
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Experience working with financial systems
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written form
- Experience in systematic quality development, analysis, and investigation work
- Interest in development and change work
- Experience in independently producing budgets, forecasts, statistics, and other relevant documentation
Meritorious:
- Experience with Windows Office, including Teams, as well as Region Stockholm's IT systems (Heroma, Raindance, QlikView, Clockwork, Edit/Platina/Dokumenta, Take Care)
- Experience with activity plans, quality financial statements, and interim reports
- Experience with Stödet/Stratsys
- Experience with internal and external audits
- Experience as a controller within Region Stockholm
Personal Qualities:
You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You are analytical, pedagogical, and take responsibility for organizing and prioritizing your work effectively. You are flexible, unpretentious, and attentive, with excellent communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment Type:
Permanent, full-time: 39.5 hours/week. A probationary period may be applied.

- register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register control at employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
