Job Description

Do you want to lead testing efforts in technically complex and socially critical environments – while contributing to high quality in advanced systems used in Sweden and internationally? We are now looking for an experienced Test Manager to join our QA team, who wants to take a key role in our development projects and drive test strategy, test planning, and test execution in close collaboration with development teams, system engineers, and clients.

As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for structuring, leading, and developing the testing efforts in our larger projects. You will have a varied daily routine where you work both operationally and strategically – from creating test plans to coordinating acceptance tests and ensuring quality in complex system environments.

You will, among other things:

- Plan, coordinate, and lead tests, including system and acceptance tests together with the client

- Develop test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test data

- Conduct tests in reference environments and simulated environments

- Ensure requirement traceability and verify functional requirements

- Document test results, follow up on deviations, and drive improvements in testing processes

- Contribute to the development of testing methodologies, automation, and CI/CD flows

- Collaborate closely with development, system engineers, and other technical teams

We work at the client’s site 3–5 days a week depending on the client’s needs and any security classification of the projects, which provides a varied daily routine with technical development and close collaboration with clients and colleagues. At our office in Stockholm, we take the opportunity to socialize – we strengthen team spirit through shared breakfasts, coffee breaks, and regular team activities and section meetings.

As many of our assignments are within the public sector and are security classified, you must have very good knowledge of Swedish and English to meet the requirements of our clients. You must also have Swedish citizenship to pass security clearance and background checks. A check against the criminal record is part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Several years of experience in test management and software testing

- Experience in testing in complex system environments – preferably within the public sector or safety-critical systems

- Experience leading teams and coordinating roles in testing projects within agile environments

- Academic education in system development, computer science, or equivalent technical background

- Certification in ISTQB

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

- Familiar with working methodically with requirement traceability and quality assurance

- Swedish citizenship and the ability to undergo security clearance

Desirable:

- Experience with defense or security-classified systems

- Previous work in a consulting role

- Experience in test automation and CI/CD

- Experience with testing tools and ALM platforms, such as Zephyr, Polarion or TestRail, Jira, Confluence, DOORS, Azure DevOps/TFS

- Certifications such as SAFe, ITIL, IREB, or Scrum Master.
