RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for the Educational Center, a facility that includes emergency school, resource school, and a municipality-wide special education group. In a setting for students with special needs, where regular school is not sufficient, you as a teacher need to create a safe and inclusive environment where each student can develop according to their conditions. In addition to teaching, you need to work on strengthening students' social and emotional skills, promoting independence, and creating meaningful relationships. Documentation and evaluation of each student's progress is also an important part of the assignment to continuously adjust methods and interventions. The Educational Center supports the municipality's primary schools when regular school is not sufficient. In your role as a teacher at the Educational Center, you will take an active role in the internal development work of the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an experienced primary school teacher. Experience working with Positive Behavioral Support in schools is an advantage.

You enjoy challenging yourself and being creative to achieve results. You are passionate about working with school social issues and should be able to participate in long-term development projects as well as assist in more urgent situations.

To start working in preschool, school, leisure centers, and other educational activities, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).

Those who have not provided an extract from the criminal record cannot be employed, contracted, or received in the facility according to current legal requirements.
