About the organization
Lyrfågelskolan is located in the eastern part of Trollhättan and is a F–9 school with approximately 1,040 students.

The school is organized into three units: F–3, 4–6, and 7–9, as well as seven after-school care departments. The school, preschool class, and after-school care work together to create a safe, clear, and cohesive school day for the students. The position is located in the F–3 unit at Lyrfågelskolan.

In the F–3 unit, we work in teams focused on high-quality teaching, clear structures, and secure relationships. We aim to build an organization that lasts over time, where students meet adults who collaborate, share common approaches, and take responsibility for the whole.

Job responsibilities
You will be part of a team and responsible for teaching and learning in grades F–3, with relevant teaching tasks according to the curriculum, course plans, and your teaching certification. Mentorship in the class is included.

You work closely with the students and play a central role in creating structure, study peace, and good conditions for learning. Collaboration with colleagues, after-school care, and student health is an obvious part of the assignment. You actively participate in the team's work as well as in the school's systematic quality and development work.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on teaching based on applicable governing documents
- adapting teaching according to students' various needs, experiences, and conditions
- creating accessible, safe, and developing learning environments
- working with clear leadership in the classroom and good relationships with students and guardians
- contributing to a professional and solution-focused collaboration within the team

Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified and certified teacher for teaching in grades F–3.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom, with the ability to create structure, engagement, and a conducive working atmosphere. You are task-oriented and have a good understanding of the school's compensatory mission.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have good knowledge in:
- planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching
- following up on students' learning and adapting teaching accordingly
- developing teaching together with colleagues

We are looking for someone who:
- is responsible, positive, and flexible
- easily collaborates and actively contributes to the team
- is attentive and has the ability to see each student's needs
- works in a structured and solution-focused manner
- meets students, colleagues, and guardians with a professional attitude
