Abels Rehab is a rehabilitation facility organized under the Health Choice program at the Södervärn Health Center in Malmö. The facility is its own resource unit and is located in its own premises. Here, physiotherapists and occupational therapists primarily work. We serve five health centers with occupational therapy and four health centers with physiotherapy at the primary care level. There is also an overarching operation focused on various diagnoses that serves all health centers in Malmö and surrounding areas. Our neuro team is included here.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome a new physiotherapist colleague to our wonderful team at Abels Rehab in Malmö.

In the role of physiotherapist in our Neuro team, your tasks will consist of assessing and treating patients with stroke, Parkinson's, and MS. Other assessments of various neurological diagnoses will also occur. Our ambition in the team is to enable our patients to live an active and independent life based on their goals and conditions, as well as to increase patients' awareness of the importance of good lifestyle habits. We have the opportunity to offer our patients individual training as well as training in stroke groups, Parkinson's groups, fitness groups, and pool sessions. Before the end of the rehabilitation period, it is your responsibility to provide support and advice regarding the opportunities available for health-promoting training in the community. You will also assess the need for orthopedic technical aids and have the opportunity to refer to Tonus Treatment Sus Malmö for any spasticity issues. You will work closely with other physiotherapist colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare and with language skills in Swedish, at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. We want you to have worked for at least 1 year as a physiotherapist. If you have further education in neurology or experience working with patients with neurological issues, we consider it an advantage. Knowledge of record-keeping and experience in PMO is also advantageous.

As a person, we see that you are confident in your professional role and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. We also value your ability to create and maintain good contacts with both internal and external parties. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
