With us, small animals, horses, and farm animals meet in a varied and stimulating everyday life. We are part of a large organization, but with the closeness and team spirit of a small district.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a veterinarian with us, you will primarily work in the field or at the clinic with horses, and to some extent with farm animals. Work at the clinic with small animals may also occur based on the needs of the organization and your experience.

Your tasks include, among others:

  • Fieldwork primarily with horses, both planned and emergency visits
  • Emergency care for all species of animals on standby.
  • Infection control is also part of the work, both during standby in connection with outbreaks and in daily work.
  • Official assignments for all animals.

Standby is a natural part of the job. We have standby around the clock, year-round, but actively work for good recovery and a sustainable work environment. Sometimes you work alone, but you are never alone. Support is always available from colleagues on standby, the standby manager (CiB), and our central standby phone.

We care about ensuring that you as a new employee receive a safe introduction and a smooth start in standby work, with the opportunity to accompany a colleague if needed.

The position includes standby where you always have access to a colleague by phone. Our veterinarians have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service, as do you.

You need to thrive in an environment where the day can quickly change, where we adapt and help each other to manage the situations that arise together.

With your calm demeanor and ability to be structured, you plan and prioritize your work effectively. As a veterinarian, you demonstrate good judgment in the decisions you make and are keen to do a good job. You need to be independent but not afraid to ask for help or guidance.

A Swedish veterinary license and a B driver's license are required. Our working language is Swedish.

Interviews may take place on an ongoing basis during the application period, so do not hesitate to submit your application!
