The Knislinge Health Center is located in the Östra Göinge municipality with good commuting opportunities. It is a well-functioning and stable unit with just under 9,000 listed patients and about 48 employees. We work patient-centered and are committed to providing good and close care with a focus on high accessibility, quality, and continuity. With us, there is a high ceiling and a good working climate focused on teamwork and a cross-professional approach to offer our patients the best available care.

At the health center, seven specialists in general medicine and five resident doctors work closely with nurses, paramedics, nursing assistants, and secretaries in a close and well-functioning collaboration. The health center has long experience as a training health center and receives a varying number of AT and BT doctors who are part of our well-organized medical reception. In addition, we have a fully functioning mobile care team staffed by doctors between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM every day, and we are responsible for two of the municipality's special accommodations.

Competence development is important to us, and collegial dialogue is highly prioritized with regular doctor meetings and scheduled development time. The unit's doctors have a number of side assignments such as school doctor, assignments at the youth clinic, STRAMA representative, and several have AKO assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a workplace with an open and inviting approach. As a doctor with us, you will work to investigate, treat, and follow up on our patients together with other professional categories. We prioritize supervision and have good access to question doctors as knowledge support.

Our patient clientele is varied, and a workday with us is never the same. You will work with both planned and acute doctor visits, and it may also include home visits and implementation of SIP according to the law on collaboration during discharge. We invest in continuing education and professional development and are flexible in allowing you to influence and shape your job content.

The position is a six-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed doctor with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. Experience in primary care is an advantage.
