Vårdcentralen Tollarp Degeberga branch is located in the countryside, next to forests and open fields, and we have approximately 8,400 registered patients. Both locations have a strong sense of community and high trust in the health center. Here we provide care for both somatic and mental health issues and work on developing new methods with team-based care. We are connected to five nursing homes and provide home care in two areas.
In addition to our medical clinic, we also have a social worker, dietitian, psychologist, and occupational therapist, nursing assistants, as well as nurse-led specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, child health care (BVC), and health conversations. Our testing department has experienced nursing assistants, and in daily operations, medical secretaries, receptionists, and administrators provide important support.
We are constantly evolving, and this fall we are focusing on further developing teamwork. We strive to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments from professional roles such as physiotherapist, psychologist, social worker, and occupational therapist based on their needs. We actively work to utilize everyone's competencies to the fullest. Through this, we can together provide the best care and optimally use our resources when the patient meets the right person directly.
In a recent survey, employees were asked about the strengths of the workgroup. Here are some of the responses:
- a holistic view and a good general medical perspective to see the whole person.
- broad competence
- good at helping each other
- good atmosphere among colleagues
