Social Workers for Adult LSS Authority Unit
Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for four social workers for our Adult LSS Authority Unit in the city area of Centrum!
We have employees on parental leave, taking leave for other jobs, and some have also taken other positions within the unit, which is why we are looking for both permanent staff and those for longer temporary positions.
With us, you will work with authority exercises for adults with LSS affiliation. The job responsibilities include investigations, decisions, and follow-ups of interventions according to LSS and the Social Services Act, such as housing with special services, daily activities, and housing support. Collaboration with the individual, relatives, providers, healthcare, and other authorities is an important part of the work.
You will plan and be responsible for your case inflow, be confident in the legislation, and communicate decisions clearly and respectfully, tailored to the individual's circumstances. With a good approach and a professional attitude, you contribute to ensuring that people receive the right support for an independent and meaningful life.

Our unit is part of the city area of Centrum and is located at Första Långgatan 21, where several authority units work together in an office landscape.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has another higher education degree that the employer assesses as equivalent, with at least 210 higher education credits (hp), of which at least 15 hp are in social law.
Since the position involves administrative work, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
It is advantageous if you have experience in case management according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also consider it advantageous if you have experience working as a social worker and if you have experience with documentation according to IBIC and in the operational systems Treserva and SAMSA.
For the role of social worker, we are looking for someone who sees opportunities for change and creates situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You motivate others and describe changes pedagogically while handling criticism of change in a constructive manner.
You work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. You understand the common mission and work to make it as good as possible.
You are comfortable in social situations. You stand by decisions made and can convey uncomfortable messages when necessary.
