Production Planner at Mastec Plastema

Mastec Plastema specializes in injection molding with a focus on more demanding products made from tough materials and geometries. Their customers are globally leading in their respective segments such as medical technology, industry, food, and defense. The machinery consists of injection molding machines with a clamping force ranging from 25 tons to 1200 tons, and the product weights vary from 1 gram to 8 kg. They also offer further processing of products such as post-processing, assembly, printing, painting, metallization, ultrasonic welding, etc.

Mastec Plastema is now looking for an analytical and communicative Production Planner who wants to take full responsibility for production planning, from customer orders and forecasts to capacity balancing and delivery notifications. In this role, you will have a central position where your work directly affects delivery precision, efficiency, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production in Monitor (MPS/MRP) for short-term and long-term periods.
• Forecast management.
• Create and maintain manufacturing orders.
• Capacity analysis and balancing of workload.
• Ongoing customer contact regarding orders, delivery times, and deviations.
• Communicate delivery notifications.
• Identify and follow up on balance errors and deviations.
• Work proactively with production, marketing, purchasing, and project management.
• Extract and analyze data (e.g., in Excel) for decision support and communicate this to management.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and unpretentious, with the ability to see both details and the big picture.

You have:

• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or production logistics.
• Experience working in MPS/MRP systems (Monitor is an advantage, SAP or similar also works).
• Good understanding of production flows, capacity, and workload.
• Experience working data-driven.
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing as well as good English.

• Confident in dialogue with customers.
• A team player who dares to ask for help and escalate when needed.
• Solution-oriented and proactive.

Additional Information:

• Start date: immediate.
• Employment type: Full-time. You will start as a hired employee through Skarp Rekrytering and then transition to employment with the client.
• Location: Söderköping.
• Working hours: Regular, with the possibility of flexibility.
• Hybrid: There is some flexibility to work up to two days from home.
• Seniority: We prefer that you have at least 3 years of experience.
