Your Role

As a Supplier Developer within Saab Aerospace Systems, you will become a key person in the work of industrializing and developing both new and existing suppliers. The goal is to ensure efficient and high-quality production of Saab's products.

The focus of the role lies after agreements have been signed between Saab and the supplier. You lead an industrialization team and work systematically with the supplier to ensure they can deliver according to Saab's and the customer's requirements.

The role involves significant individual responsibility, clear goals, and many points of contact, both internally within Saab and externally with suppliers worldwide. Travel, primarily international, may occur.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with relevant education or equivalent experience in production, manufacturing, or supplier development. You have production engineering competence in one of the following areas: composites, sheet metal, machining, assembly, or surface treatment/painting.

You are analytical and pedagogical, with the ability to identify connections and communicate clearly. You enjoy working independently, driving processes forward, and creating good collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Production engineering competence in one or more relevant areas.
• Ability to identify and explain connections.
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Interest in people, cultures, and international collaborations.
• Self-motivation and initiative.

Experience from industrial production or supplier development is an advantage, as well as familiarity with working in technically complex environments with high-quality demands.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for specific citizenship.
