Financial Analyst for Leading Global Pharmaceutical Company

SJR is now recruiting a Financial Analyst for our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company with offices in Solna & Uppsala. This is a consulting assignment starting on January 19th for 12 months with a chance of extension. The role is 80% onsite at our client's finance department in Uppsala and 20% remote.

About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the analysis of manufacturing deviations, reporting, cost tracking, and support during the monthly closing process. You will be an important part of the team and work closely with the Finance Manager focusing on identifying process improvements and supporting the business in financial matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional costs, manufacturing deviations, and reporting.
• Support the capitalization of assets.
• Contribute to volume forecasts.
• Participate in the monthly closing process.
• Provide support in ad hoc projects, operational improvement initiatives, and other projects requiring supply chain finance expertise.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone with at least a bachelor's degree in finance, industrial economics, finance, or engineering. You have 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance and are accustomed to working with advanced Excel functions and have good knowledge of Power BI. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus, as well as experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or cost accounting.

You are a self-driven person with good planning and prioritization skills, who enjoys taking responsibility and delivering with high accuracy and quality. You are flexible and adapt well to changing requirements and business needs. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
