A Job That Counts!
With us, you contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses.
Our legal unit needs to grow with an additional enforcement officer trainee to work with qualified legal matters in various areas of law.
About the Job
As an enforcement officer, you work within one or more of the Swedish Enforcement Authority's operational areas: summary proceedings, enforcement, debt restructuring, and supervision in bankruptcy/reconstruction. You are responsible for the legal quality in case handling. Your work spans several areas of law, primarily insolvency law, enforcement law, and property law. Initially, you will work within the summary proceedings operational area.
- In summary proceedings, you make qualified legal assessments in cases concerning payment orders, ordinary enforcement, and special enforcement.
- In enforcement, you are an essential part of the authority's actions during intervention enforcement measures and are responsible for executive property and condominium sales.
- In debt restructuring, you investigate the conditions for debt restructuring in review and objection cases and make decisions in complex matters.
- In bankruptcy supervision, you monitor that the bankruptcy administration is conducted correctly and are available to the administrators when difficult questions arise. You also work with supervision over corporate reconstructors.
You also provide daily legal support to other employees, conduct training, perform legal investigations, make decisions, respond to consultations, and write opinions to courts. The role also includes representing the authority in various contexts and answering questions from the public and parties.
Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities about suspected crimes. As an enforcement officer/enforcement officer trainee, you can, for example, counteract various types of crime by providing legal support to enforcement inspectors and case handlers. This can result in you contributing to preventing welfare crimes.
You will undergo internal training for about a year. In the training, you will alternate between theory and practice and apply the law within our various operations. There is both the opportunity and expectation to work over time in the different operational departments.
Possible placement locations are Luleå, Umeå, Östersund, Gävle, Uddevalla, and Visby.
