Do you want a socially important mission and are ready to take responsibility? Become a key player in a team that develops and manages the processes and systems behind the payment functions of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Our mission is to ensure the security and efficiency of the disbursements of compensation and benefits made for the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Pension Authority. Each year, we make over 50 million payments amounting to approximately 600 billion SEK.

The Payment area is responsible for developing and managing the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's payment systems and operational products within the area. We also negotiate the agency's agreements for payment services and act as product owners, setting requirements for IT and external parties regarding services related to disbursements. Our unit consists of about 10 employees located in Stockholm and Östersund.

Development, requirements management, and cross-functional teamwork We are now looking for a business developer who can work on implementing activities in larger and smaller development projects, as well as management activities. The work involves close collaboration with other colleagues in the area, operational staff, and IT teams. You will work across organizational boundaries within the agency and may represent the area in external contacts. Examples of tasks include conducting smaller development activities, requirement setting, incident management, ongoing updates of payment processes and governing documents, etc. Many of the tasks are operational in nature, and we are therefore looking for someone with an interest in a career in business development and who wants to grow into the role.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a degree from a university or equivalent experience
  • has several years of experience in the payment and finance operational area
  • can understand and quickly grasp the subject matter
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • has knowledge of project management and various forms of collaboration
  • has good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has the ability to create a useful network
  • has a solution-oriented approach.

It is advantageous if you

  • have worked for several years in a government agency or larger organization
  • have experience in setting requirements for larger mission-critical systems or payment flows
  • have experience with agile working methods
  • have experience in participating in larger development initiatives and transitions.

Other 1 position, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. There is an opportunity for remote work if the job allows. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. The place of employment is Stockholm or Östersund.
