What will you work with?
As an accountant, your tasks will include:
- Asset accounting.
- Grant accounting.
- Monthly and year-end closing work (financial parts).
- Government group accounting (reporting in Hermes).
- Financial review of allocated state grants.
- Tax and VAT declarations.
Who are we looking for?
Requirements for the position:
- University degree in economics or equivalent work experience deemed relevant for the position by the employer.

What does the unit do?
The finance unit ensures that the agency follows good accounting practices, submits our external financial reports on time, and is responsible for the financial parts of the annual report.
We are responsible for financial planning and assist with monitoring for internal governance in close collaboration with department heads and unit managers. We are also responsible for ensuring that the agency's purchases comply with applicable legislation and review contracts and provide routines and templates to streamline the agency's purchasing.

About the employment
You will be employed as an administrator based at our office in Solna or Östersund. The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date will be as soon as possible by agreement.
As an employee of the Public Health Agency, you may be placed in wartime. Certain positions are placed in a security class where Swedish citizenship may be a requirement. A security review will then be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
At the agency, there may be an opportunity to enter into an agreement for remote work up to 40 percent of your working time.
