Our Operations

Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and plastic surgery is a joint operating department for the fields of ear, nose, and throat diseases as well as plastic surgery. The staff consists of operating room nurses and nursing assistants who work within both specialties in close collaboration with the maxillofacial surgeon and the anesthesia department. Examples of procedures performed include surgery for cleft lip, jaw, and palate, breast and head-neck reconstructions, skin transplantation for severe burns, and facial injury surgeries. We perform advanced rhinology, laser surgery, and bronchoscopy as well as basic surgeries such as tonsillectomies and outpatient procedures under local anesthesia. We also have two operating rooms where otologic surgery, e.g., cochlear implants and myringoplasty, is performed. Our patients are both children and adults from all over the country, but primarily patients from Central Sweden. The department has a total of seven operating rooms. Burn patients are operated on in the operating room located in the burn intensive care unit.

Your Mission

We have an operating room nurse who is retiring, and we are therefore looking for an operating room nurse for ENT and plastic surgery who wants to help develop our exciting, varied, and innovative operations. We are a positive group that works closely together to provide the best care and first-class service to our patients. We are attentive to your wishes and your competence needs.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialized training in operating room nursing.

Your Competence

We are a well-organized operation with close interdisciplinary collaboration, which is why your personal suitability is of great importance. We hope you are proactive and have good collaboration skills.

We Offer

Our working time model means that we have a weekly working time of 36.33 hours/week, which means that you have about 7 weekdays off in 10 weeks. We operate Monday to Friday. We have a 10-week schedule and have 5 on-call occasions during 10 weeks (3 occasions on weekdays and one on Saturday-Sunday). Working hours are negotiable, with some flexibility according to various requests. The onboarding is adapted to your needs. We offer a permanent full-time position starting by agreement.
