JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer temporary worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing support and care tasks as well as health and medical interventions and documentation.
• Supporting and motivating clients to achieve independence and participation in their daily lives, as well as having an active and meaningful existence.
• Working in home care involves great responsibility as we meet people with different needs, where you have the opportunity to develop and grow into the role.

The working hours for most summer temporary workers are during the day, evening, and weekends, but we also have a number of night shifts available. You will follow our routines, such as basic hygiene routines and medication delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is 18 years or older (according to AFS 2023:2 as solo work may occur)
• Masters the Swedish language well enough to communicate with clients, relatives, and other staff, as well as to document what the business requires.
• Can ride a bike.
• In some home care groups, you need to have a B driver's license.
• Enjoys working with elderly people and believes that social interaction and meaningfulness are important ingredients in everyday life.
• Is positive, responsible, and has an easy time building good relationships.
• Wants a summer job where you truly make a difference.

To work in the business, you need to be able to receive a medication delegation. If you have training as, or are in training to become, a nursing assistant, it is highly meritorious. Similarly, if you have previously worked in home care.
