About the Workplace

Parkgården elderly care home in Bålsta, Håbo municipality.

The facility comprises a total of 60 apartments spread over three floors with six living units. Parkgården has a beautiful garden with outdoor seating areas. The workplace is located by Magdalenakyrkan in old Bålsta, about a 15 - 20 minute walk from the transport center. Direct buses are available to Västerås, Enköping, Uppsala, and Märsta. SJ and SL have stops at the transport center. There is parking available next to the workplace.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will assist our users with practical help and support in everyday situations based on the individual needs of the users. This applies to all tasks such as care, social interaction, activities, meals, clothing care, shopping, etc. We work from a holistic perspective regarding the user and collaborate in teams with other professionals such as nurses, occupational and physiotherapists, as well as with relatives and other important people for the user.

Social documentation, delegated health and medical tasks, and case management are included in the position. In your work, you will have the opportunity to experience the joy of contributing to providing good care and security for elderly individuals. We are looking for employees who can work a traditional schedule with day, evening, and every other weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant through the care and social services program or equivalent. To succeed in the role, you need to have experience so that you feel secure in your professional role.

Håbo municipality is a Finnish administrative area, so knowledge of the Finnish language may be an advantage.
