JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a varied, responsible, and stimulating job where you plan a large part of your working hours based on the needs of the clients at the center.

The occupational therapist in home care works in a team with physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, and unit managers. The team works to achieve close and effective care based on the needs of the clients.

In home care West, as a licensed occupational therapist, you help create conditions for our clients to live as independently, participatively, and meaningfully as possible, starting from their own homes.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Assessments, provision/trial of assistive devices, rehabilitation.
• Assessments of activity and functional ability as well as interventions such as training.
• Working preventively to maintain good health and reduce the risk of falls.
• Together with the team, you guide and educate care staff in rehabilitative approaches and transfer techniques.
• Actively work with the goals and assignments of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist to join our team. You have an interest in working with the varied and individual needs of clients. You can work both in a team and independently and take personal responsibility for your tasks. It is important to be attentive to the needs of the clients and to provide good service.

Experience in elderly care and rehabilitation is advantageous; we place great emphasis on personal suitability, engagement, teamwork skills, and creativity.

In the unit, you will have another occupational therapist colleague as well as physiotherapist colleagues, where close collaboration and teamwork make the days rich in content and facilitate continuous exchange of experiences.

You have a good ability to meet people in different situations in a professional manner and can collaborate with those around you, always with the client's best interests in focus.

• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
• A background check will be conducted.
