Our 1800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

There is now a unique opportunity to be part of our initiative where we are hiring more district doctors for Örsundsbro Health Center with the aim of already offering 1100 listed patients per full-time district doctor by 2026. Be part of it from the start, as there are excellent opportunities to influence our new working methods, patient flows, and scheduling! We offer permanent positions at 75-100%, and the working hours can be discussed based on the applicant's preferences. Start date is by agreement.

Your mission

With us, you will work closely with all professionals at the health center and in teams. Your tasks will consist of outpatient work with good opportunities for other stimulating tasks such as supervision of AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the job, you will also be involved in developing our operations, and there are good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thus allowing you to influence your work environment. Some on-call duty is also included, as is the case throughout primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. As we are now at a stage where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is advantageous if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on patients and patient flows. It is also beneficial if you appreciate working in teams around patients with other professionals to achieve effective flows. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our operations

Örsundsbro Health Center is located in modern premises in the countryside between Uppsala and Enköping. We are 22 employees who together work for the best for the patient, and we care about a good stimulating work environment with personal solutions. The health center is a central and important place for the population, which makes our job especially valuable.
