Are you a relationship-building and business-driven person who wants to contribute to the development of future sustainable infrastructure? RISE is now looking for a salesperson for our operations within testing, control, and inspection. You will be a key person in developing the business towards manufacturers, suppliers, and actors within water, energy, installation, and infrastructure. The role belongs to the Department of Infrastructure and Concrete Construction, with placement at one of our offices, such as Gothenburg or Borås.

The Department of Infrastructure and Concrete Construction works with research, testing, certification, and inspection activities to ensure quality, function, and long-term sustainability in products and systems used within the infrastructure area.
We work with:
• Testing and verification of water products, heating, and sanitation components
• Control inspections and audits at manufacturers and importers
• Quality assurance and functional testing of district heating products and water systems
• Laboratory testing and advanced measuring equipment for evaluating product performance
Our operations in testing, control, and inspection contribute to improving the quality and safety of products and systems, enabling sustainable and efficient community development, and creating security for users, authorities, and industry actors.
Our customers are both national and international and span manufacturers, contractors, clients, industry organizations, and authorities. About the role As a salesperson with us, you play a central role in driving and developing the business within testing, control, and inspection. You work closely with technicians, engineers, and project managers to understand customer needs and match them with our experts' competencies.
Your main tasks:
Identify, process, and develop new customers and business opportunities
Build long-term relationships with manufacturers, importers, and industry actors
Drive the entire sales process – from first contact to contract and follow-up
Develop customer-specific solutions together with our technical experts
Be responsible for quotation work, calculations, and customer dialogue
Participate in industry fairs, networking events, and marketing activities
Promote RISE's services in testing, inspection, and verification
The role involves significant personal responsibility and freedom to plan your work. Travel occurs in connection with customer meetings, both within Sweden and internationally, as we collaborate with customers worldwide. Who are you? Qualifications – requirements for the role
• Post-secondary education in sales or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical and value-based sales
• Good understanding of technical products, preferably within water, energy, installation/ plumbing, or infrastructure
• Experience with pricing strategies and the ability to independently drive business from the first dialogue to closure
• Experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B
Desirable experiences
• Experience from testing, inspection, or certification activities
• Knowledge of regulations and standards within the water and plumbing area
• An established network within the water, energy, or infrastructure sector
• Practical experience in the operational craft of marketing and communication work, such as planning and executing fairs, managing mailings, and organizing web and video meetings.
