About the organization
The Procurement Department consists of 8 people who support and carry out procurements according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) for the entire Trollhättan City, including municipal companies.

In total, the city purchases goods and services for approximately 1.3 billion kronor per year.

Job Responsibilities
You will independently lead and carry out procurements. The work encompasses the entire procurement process, from market analysis, preparation/creation of tender documents to contracts and associated contract management.

The role of the purchaser also means that you have a project management role where you control and are responsible for several procurements simultaneously.

It may be relevant to carry out procurements of both services and goods. The position we are looking for currently involves IT procurements, social services, certain transport services, etc.

The work involves a lot of collaboration with other parts of the organization and also with other municipalities. Therefore, it is important that you have an easy time collaborating, are diplomatic, and focused on development.

There are high demands for you to be goal-oriented and loyal to set goals. We expect you to be passionate about making good deals and that you act professionally and commercially.

In the Procurement Department, you will work together with a great team in a stimulating work environment, with a lot of variety in the work and good opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications
We see it as an advantage if you have work experience from both the private sector and/or the public sector. Experience as a project manager and training in LOU is meritorious. You should have a suitable post-secondary education, e.g. in economics or law or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

We place great emphasis on personal abilities, so we assume that you are:
- independent, outgoing, and driven
- meticulous and analytical
- pedagogical and express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written
- good at collaborating and building trust

Experience from working with electronic procurement systems is seen as a merit.

If you have worked as a public purchaser in recent years, this is of course a big plus.

Interest in making good deals and environmental issues is seen as an advantage as these are essential prerequisites for the position.
