Then look here! We are now seeking welding engineers or welding specialists for specific assignments within the aerospace and space industry. You will work with a wide range of tasks, from daily production support to the development of new products and technologies. You will help ensure that the customer creates capable manufacturing processes regarding welding and that the products have the right conditions to be delivered with world-class quality.
The company is currently facing exciting challenges with an accelerating AM journey and a growing share of welded products.
You will belong to a great team of specialists and work on exciting projects while supporting daily production.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, improving, and qualifying processes by working on the establishment of welding parameters
- Automation of welding processes and fixture development
- Providing specialist knowledge in various types of development projects
- Monitoring and analyzing process capability
- Reviewing production drawings
- Participating in investments and implementation of new technology
- Assessing and reviewing product manufacturability
- Contributing to the development of training materials and training, instructing, and certifying welding operators
- Introducing new methods, equipment, instructions, and procedures within welding
- Continuously improving welding processes and existing working methods
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a technical university degree, production engineering vocational education, or other relevant education/experience. IWE, IWT, or IWS training is a merit. Since we operate in a global environment, you need to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, in addition to Swedish.
It is advantageous if you have any of the following to succeed in the role:
- Experience or knowledge of welding methods LBW, GTAW, EBW, PAW, and RW
- Experience and knowledge of Additive Manufacturing
- Experience from production engineering work

- Good at communicating and building good relationships
