District Nurse/Nurse at Lövånger Health Center

Within the health and medical care administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a common administration and organized into regional and local healthcare areas. The local healthcare area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these aim to provide good and close care.

Primary Care South Skellefteå consists of the health centers Anderstorp, Bureå, Burträsk, and Lövånger. Here we work together to develop primary care. Lövånger Health Center, with approximately 2500 registered patients, is the small health center in the heart of Västerbotten's coastal region. Between the cities of Skellefteå and Umeå, with a vibrant countryside as a backdrop, lies the community of Lövånger with surrounding villages. Here we work with something as contradictory as urban-close rural medicine. While we have Umeå University Hospital just over an hour away, we also have a clear rural character in our healthcare cases.

In Lövånger, we truly know our patients and they know us. Staff turnover is low, and both staffing levels and competence levels are high. Lövånger Health Center consistently tops the National Patient Survey in Västerbotten, which we are proud of. Our patients trust us – they seek care at the health center and expect to receive care there rather than a referral to one of the hospitals.

At the health center, there is a very good atmosphere; we help each other and find creative solutions for the patient's best interest and to support one another. We continuously work on both the work environment and well-being as well as on operational development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a district nurse or nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

Your tasks at the health center span a broad field of work and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. This includes assessing and assisting patients in telephone consultations as well as through our e-services, but also in direct meetings at the clinic. Work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. You will have close collaboration with other professionals at the health center. This makes the work with us both varied and stimulating.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed district nurse or nurse.

You are meticulous, take great responsibility for your work and your workplace, and are confident in your profession. You can work both independently and in a team and have good social skills.

You are a present and positive person who, with expert knowledge and care, sees the patient and contributes to a holistic view that makes the care process better and safer. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people.
