JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a summer employee! Do you want to be one of us? We offer a summer substitute position at 100%, 10 weeks during June to August 2025, with the possibility of hourly employment in May. We are a team of 12 social workers (eight in the dependency section), two senior social workers, and a unit manager. The work involves handling harmful use, dependency, and everything related to this in the form of investigations, motivational work, and collaboration with other units within social services and the region. We work in the LifeCare data system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone studying to become a social worker or who has a degree in social work. We prefer that you have previous experience working with, or have completed your practical training (VFU) in, dependency or authority exercise within social services. It is an advantage if you have experience with our data system LifeCare. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where good collaboration skills and the ability to maintain structure in work are important aspects.

A driver's license is a requirement.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment degree. This means that the employee has the right to work full-time or part-time as desired.
