Living Environment

Änggårdsbacken consists of 168 apartments distributed across three buildings. The focus of building A is somatic care, building B is for cognitive impairment, and building C is for geriatric psychiatry. It is easy to move between the three buildings via an inner courtyard, which is a lovely oasis to spend time in with a greenhouse and free-range chickens in the summer. Whether the environments we create are indoors or outdoors, they should promote both physical and social aspects.

Vegahemmet consists of 138 apartments with a focus on both somatic and cognitive impairment. It is situated in an environment that fosters well-being, with an inner courtyard that is a beautiful oasis to spend time in and close to walking paths. Job Responsibilities

You will work according to the national value base and from a salutogenic perspective. In your role, you will plan your day based on the needs of the organization. The focus is on providing support and guidance to employees in the care and nursing home. This may involve supervising complex cases that involve tenants, relatives, and contact staff. It may also involve enhancing competence in working with implementation plans or social documentation. Through your network and conversations with various professionals, you have the opportunity to identify and propose training initiatives.

Your working hours are weekdays during the day, but evenings and weekends may also occur. The workweeks are 40 hours, and you have the right to flexible hours.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate of protected professional title (alternatively, you can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced). You have vocational training with at least 200 YH points in care and nursing or a university degree that the employer assesses as relevant for the position. You should have experience working in care and nursing, and if you have experience supervising groups and individuals, that is a merit. The job requires computer skills for documentation and deviation management in various IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

You should be well-grounded in the salutogenic approach and the national value base. The role requires your ability to collaborate to perform tasks and achieve goals. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and always have the tenant's needs as the starting point in your actions. You adapt your communication according to the recipient and situation, both in writing and verbally. You are comfortable speaking in front of others and see value in contributing to others' learning, as you lead certain training initiatives.
