JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a summer substitute within the healthcare and social services administration. You will have the opportunity for an exciting job with variation at one of our units. As a substitute this summer, you will have the chance to work on a fixed schedule during the holiday period.

You have a genuine interest in people, providing service, and creating security and joy for the elderly with dementia or somatic illnesses. You start from each individual's needs and conditions and have the ability to prioritize your tasks. Around you, you have a fantastic team of colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the responsible unit manager for the accommodation.

A job in a healthcare and social services accommodation means that you, together with other staff, provide support, care, and assistance to the residents. It may also involve helping in daily life and at various social activities. The interventions are individually planned, and you will utilize your ability for flexibility, collaboration, and responsibility.

You will work on scheduled hours during daytime, evening, or night, weekdays as well as weekends, with varying degrees of employment around 60-100%.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a summer substitute within healthcare and social services accommodation, you need:

• A valid criminal record check
• To understand, speak, read, and write Swedish
• Basic digital skills
• To be at least 18 years old

It is advantageous if you have studied the Healthcare and Social Services program or another education deemed equivalent. Experience from healthcare and social services work is also a merit.

Personally, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You listen to other people in order to understand their needs and have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. Finally, you take responsibility for your and shared tasks with the residents' best interests in focus.
